We’re looking for outstanding graduates to join our growing global Advisory business supporting capital investment programmes, transformations projects and asset enhancement initiatives. Roles can be based in one of our offices listed above. Building off AECOM’s considerable expertise in infrastructure design and implementation, AECOM Advisory is a trusted adviser to senior level clients and executive teams on their most pressing enterprise and strategic needs.

We deliver projects across the infrastructure market, with a current focus on aviation, defence, energy and water. Our team of 400 staff globally comprises business and policy analysts, economists, commercial strategists, technology architects, as well as human capital and change management practitioners. We help our clients develop their strategy, improve their operational performance, and integrate digital systems to generate value for their stakeholders and impact for their communities.

As a graduate, you'll have the chance to rotate through the different teams that make up advisory, gaining hands-on experience in a variety of areas. Working within a multidisciplinary environment will broaden your knowledge and network, giving you a clear sense of where you might want to focus your consultancy career in the future.

Our UK & Ireland Advisory teams includes:

  • Strategy+ - who help organisations solve complex system-level challenges by turning strategy into practical, deliverable change.
  • Strategic Procurement - who help clients understand the critical importance of a thoroughly developed and market tested procurement strategy.
  • Economic Development - who work on economic strategy, feasibility studies, investment plans, business case development, financial modelling and real estate analysis.
  • Industrial Advisory - who apply lean thinking, process optimisation and industrial engineering expertise to deliver measurable improvements in performance.
  • Transaction Advisory - who advise on economic and social infrastructure projects being delivered via project and quasi-development / property finance routes.
  • People & Place Advisory - who advise on built environment strategy and change management specialists with a focus on user experience.

Alongside your degree, we are looking for you to be able to demonstrate:

In return we will offer a two-year structured development programme which includes a combination of training and coaching to support and guide you through your early career, together with a clear pathway from Graduate to Director. Exposure to high‑profile clients across a variety of sectors with the opportunity to work on some of the worlds biggest infrastructure projects that will leave a sustainable legacy.

This role may suit Graduates from the following disciplines; Economics, Human Geography, Management Sciences, Business Management, International Management, Political Policy Science or Research, Data Analytics. We are however able to consider any degree discipline. What is most important is that you are able to demonstrate an understanding of and interest in the role.
