  • Automation Development: Working with the information management team to develop automated data processes and workflows that streamline data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various project sources.
  • Power BI Development: Creating dashboards and reports in Power BI to visualise project performance data, trends, and key metrics. Working alongside senior analysts to understand project level data requirements and translate them into effective visual solutions. Contribute to the ongoing development of our Power BI data models.
  • Data Exploration & Analysis: Identifying trends, anomalies, and potential areas for improvement within project data.
  • Software Development Support: Collaborate with senior team members to support the development of custom project tools. This will include learning basic SQL, exploring data manipulation techniques, contributing to small scale software development tasks.
  • Creative Problem Solving: Bring a fresh perspective to data challenges to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and propose innovative solutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation for processes, reports, data models and custom software packages.
  • Data Quality: Contribute to maintaining the quality and accuracy of project data.

Ready to push the limits of what’s possible? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Statistics) or equivalent practical experience. Training within Design and Information Management will be provided; individuals with experience in other industries are encouraged to apply.
  • Skills:
    • Power BI: Basic to intermediate proficiency in Power BI (experience with data modelling and DAX is a plus).
    • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem solving skills to understand and solve project level issues.
    • Technical Aptitude: A willingness to learn new technologies and software, particularly in the areas of data analysis, automation and basic programming concepts.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to clearly explain complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences is essential.
    • Creativity: A creative mindset with a desire to think outside the box and develop innovative solutions.
    • Additional Skills: Familiarity with SQL. Experience with data visualization tools. Knowledge of Project Management methodologies e.g. Agile, Waterfall.
