Marketing and Communications Officer

Full Time, Permanent (1 FTE)

Location: Bournemouth Campus

Health Sciences University (HSU: formerly AECC University College) is a specialist health sciences institution dedicated to excellent education, clinical care and applied research.

Following the recent approval of our new university title HSU in July 2024 and the merger of the University College of Osteopathy into the HSU family from 1st August 2024, the institution is in a phase of growth and transformation across our campuses in Bournemouth and central London.

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing and Communications team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual who will work on a range of marketing activities at Health Sciences University to promote Clinical and Rehabilitation Services. Previous Marketing and office experience would be advantageous.

This role supports with day-to-day management of marketing, advertising and communications to prospective and existing patients, as well as supporting with content creation for the Clinic’s social media channels. The role includes email communications and helping to organise photography and videography shoots. The Marketing and Communications Assistant works on a variety of briefs within a busy marketing team, including office administration.

About the person

Candidates for this role would ideally have:

  • Good written skills and an interest in writing
  • Experience in marketing in a clinical setting
  • Good organisation skills and confidence when speaking to others about our clinical services
  • Enthusiasm, a good eye for detail, a conscientious attitude, and excellent organisation and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to multi-task and prioritise your workload.
