Classroom Assistant – part-time, flexible roles

The role of Classroom Assistant in AE Tuition’s programmes is pivotal. Every tuition programme is delivered by experienced, professionally-qualified Teachers and supported by the Supervisory and Assistant team. Each Assistant plays a key role in both the learning experience of pupils individually, and also in the maintenance of routine administration.

With three busy tuition centres, the number of Classroom Assistants in our whole team is increasing – and we are always interested in new talent to fill these important roles. The job description provides full details of the requirements and the following offers an overall indicator for suitable applicants:

1. Strong academic track record – as a minimum we look for high grades at GCSE level (including A*/A or Grade 8 and above), specifically in English and maths or predicted grades from Year 11 Spring/Summer mocks.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Evidence of effective team-working capability.

An understanding of the grammar school selection testing procedure would be a distinct advantage.

Vacancies for part-time positions, with varying work hours, exist regularly in any of our three tuition centre locations (Slough, Langley, Feltham). Successful candidates may be considered for roles in any one, or more than one, of our locations.

Details of specific hours would be discussed and agreed during the recruitment process. Applicants should note that working hours would be during our tuition centres’ opening hours, which involves weekday evenings and/or weekend working.
