Summary Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Field Engineer to take technical responsibility for the reliable and efficient operation of security systems supporting Alarm Receiving Centres (ARCs). The role will focus on the installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault-finding of CCTV, intruder detection, access control, alarm signalling and associated communications systems all to support the operation of High Voltage Assets. You will act as a senior technical point of contact, resolving complex faults, supporting engineers and customers, and ensuring systems remain secure, resilient and operational. Key Responsibilities * Install, commission, maintain and fault-find ARC-connected security systems. * Diagnose and resolve complex CCTV, intruder, access control and signalling faults. * Support the reliable operation of ARC receiving and communications equipment. * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to maximise system uptime. * Configure, test and commission new and upgraded systems. * Provide technical support and guidance to field engineers. * Liaise with customers, ARC operations teams, manufacturers and suppliers. * Maintain accurate service records and technical documentation. * Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, resilience and performance. * Ensure all work meets relevant technical, security and health & safety standards. What We're Looking For * 5+ years' experience in electronic security or a related technical field. * Strong experience with CCTV, intruder, access control and alarm signalling systems. * Experience working with Alarm Receiving Centres or monitored security systems. * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. * Good understanding of IP/networked security and communications systems. * Able to work independently and provide technical leadership to other engineers. * Strong customer and communication skills. * Relevant manufacturer or security systems qualifications desirable. * Full UK Driving Licence.
