Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Slinger Signaller to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for directing the movement of heavy machinery and loads on-site, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Your expertise in signaling and communication will help maintain a secure work environment while supporting the smooth flow of construction activities. Duties * Use hand signals, radios, or other communication devices to guide cranes and heavy equipment during lifting operations * Maintain clear and precise communication with crane operators and ground personnel to coordinate movements effectively * Ensure all lifting activities comply with safety protocols and site regulations * Conduct regular inspections of signaling equipment and ensure proper functioning before use * Assist in setting up safe work zones by marking boundaries and ensuring visibility of signals * Collaborate with site managers to plan lifting sequences and optimize workflow * Document all signaling activities, incidents, and safety checks accurately in reports Experience * Construction experience, particularly with heavy lifting operations or crane work * Strong communication skills to relay clear instructions under various conditions * Proficiency in English for effective verbal and written communication * Hold a valid CPCS/ NPORS Certification * Able to pass security clearance * Knowledge of safety standards related to lifting operations and site protocols is highly desirable This role is essential for maintaining a safe, organized, and productive construction environment.
