Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pipe Fitter to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems across various construction and industrial sites.
This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, fabrication techniques, and the ability to work safely in diverse environments.
The Pipe Fitter will collaborate closely with other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities * Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine piping layouts and installation procedures. * Measure, cut, thread, assemble, and install pipes using hand tools and power tools. * Fabricate pipe components as required for specific project needs. * Ensure all piping systems are installed in accordance with safety standards and building codes. * Perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications on existing piping systems. * Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry, roofing, electrical, and welding teams to coordinate project activities. * Conduct inspections of installed piping for leaks or defects and rectify issues promptly. * Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
