We are looking for a welder who can demonstrate that they can pass a welding test, on a 2\” A106B Carbon pipe, Tig Process, carried out in a 6G position and under third party test conditions. The welder has to be fully qualified to work offshore in UK waters. Although the test will be on a full penetration butt weld, the scope will be mainly fillet welds. The scope of works is to carry out repair works, as part of a team, on a Waste Heat Recovery Unit Frame. The candidate will assist other trades when welding works is not immediately available. The works is on the CNR Ninian Platform. Mobilising offshore on 24th October from Aberdeen and planned for 21 days, but may be shortened to 2 weeks. Welder Qualification to be carried out at Flint, North Wales. Pay Rate is £34.50ph
