We are seeking a professional and dependable Class 1 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries, to deliver goods efficiently and on time. Duties
- Safely operate Class 1 lorries, including flatbed trucks, across designated routes
- Ensure the secure loading and unloading of goods, adhering to safety regulations
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after journeys to identify any maintenance needs or safety issues
- Plan efficient delivery routes to meet deadlines while maintaining safety standards
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery logs and vehicle checklists
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during transit
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the company's reputation during all interactions with clients and colleagues
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 driving licence with a clean driving record
