As Fleet Coordinator for the Water division, you will be based in our Haydock office, with travel to contract sites, responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with our Operator Licence processes and procedures.
As part of the Fleet team, reporting to the Divisional Fleet Manager – Water & Infrastructure and working closely with the Group Fleet Manager and other fleet team members, you will be able to confidently manage a busy workload on your own initiative and will adopt a flexible approach to your working day.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Managing vehicle records
- Maintaining an accurate vehicle database
- Processing payments for road tax, parking fines and third-party charges
- Fuel spend analysis
- Vehicle tracking and reports
- Hire vehicle bookings
- Managing insurance database
- Driver records
- General daily administration and filing duties
Principal Accountabilities:
- Service planning, scheduling and continual review
- Delivery of monthly fleet status reports to the management team
- Manage breakdown, MOT, and vehicle service planning to ensure the operational planning functions are well informed of resources becoming available
- Ensuring compliance with transport legislation
- Contractor maintenance
- Contribute to ensuring Daily Vehicle Checks are being completed and any defects reported are resolved
- Maintenance of driver and vehicle records
