The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a 7.5-tonne flatbed vehicle to deliver goods efficiently across designated routes. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 7.5 Tonne flatbed vehicle to complete scheduled deliveries and collections
- Ensure all deliveries are made in accordance with route plans and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues promptly
- Secure loads properly on the flatbed to prevent movement during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon completion of each delivery
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams regarding delivery status or any unforeseen delays
