We are looking for an experienced LV Overhead Lines Supervisor / Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, supervision, and delivery of overhead line works linking utility poles to domestic properties. The successful candidate will have strong overhead line experience and be confident managing works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate LV overhead line connection works from pole to property
- Supervise and manage site teams, subcontractors, and daily operations
- Ensure works are completed safely and in line with company and industry standards
- Track project progress, productivity, and programme delivery
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality checks
- Liaise with clients, residents, DNOs, and internal stakeholders
- Manage permits, RAMS, and health & safety documentation
- Resolve on-site issues and ensure minimal disruption to customers
- Support scheduling, material coordination, and resource planning
- Provide regular progress updates and reporting to management
Requirements
- Proven experience in LV overhead line works
- Previous experience supervising or managing field operations
- Good understanding of utility network construction and pole-to-property connections
- Strong knowledge of health & safety procedures and site compliance
- Ability to organise and manage multiple workstreams
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- NRSWA qualification
- IPAF / MEWP certification
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- Experience working within telecoms or utility infrastructure projects
