We are working with a fully integrated, market-leading design and build business with a £500 Million Pound turnover. They are renowned for their projects in the Water Treatment and Civil Engineering sectors. Their extensive portfolio includes full lifecycle infrastructure and non-infrastructure solutions, focusing on schemes like flood defense improvements, water treatment upgrades, and nature-based solutions.
They are looking to add a Site Agent to their existing team who are currently engaged on a brand new AMP 8 framework that spans across the Thames Valley. The projects involve a diverse mix of Civils/water schemes (Between £20m - £100m in value) from feasibility through design and construction. As a Site Agent, you will be integral to the operational team, contributing to every phase from tendering and design to construction, commissioning, and handover. You will lead projects that enhance the environment and communities - from improving flood defences to upgrading water treatment works and providing nature-based solutions that improve biodiversity.
Responsibilities- Working collaboratively with the design and commercial teams to enhance delivery efficiency and promote opportunities while managing risk.
- Managing the site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the quality required by the client.
- Involvement with site level procurement, subcontractor logistics and H&S reporting.
- Informing the client about project progress and addressing any concerns.
- Acting as a Temporary Works Coordinator, overseeing the installation of temporary works to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS.
- HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Understand civil engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region.
