Johnsons Hotel Linen is looking for a highly versatile, professional, self-motivated and driven individual to work as part of a small customer service team supporting the smooth running of our Reading site. Working within a fast-paced environment, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, customer service and organisational skills. They must demonstrate flexibility with a hands-on approach and a willingness to accept a variety of tasks.
The Role Will Involve:
- Answering all incoming telephone calls and emails.
- Keying in customer requirements for deliveries.
- Ensuring delivery paperwork is in place where appropriate.
- Outbound calling to customers.
- Resolving customer queries.
- Ensuring excellent communication with the external service team.
- Keeping accurate records for customer requests and responding to queries in a timely manner.
- Adhering to strict confidentiality standards regarding all Company financial and salary matters.
- Taking ownership of customer issues, resolving and feeding back to the customer.
- Ensuring full compliance with relevant Health & Safety legislation.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
- Fostering and maintaining good working relations throughout the site.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
The successful candidate will be required to work 5 days per week. You must enjoy working as part of a team and demonstrate excellent communication skills gained within a customer service environment. Good numeracy and Excel skills are essential, as are IT literacy in Word and Excel and an aptitude for learning new IT systems.
