Adyen is seeking a Senior Compensation Business Partner who is excited to join the Global People team to contribute to the growth and scale of the company. Our ideal candidate thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, is highly data-driven, analytical, takes ownership, works collaboratively and is not afraid to roll-up-their-sleeves to get work done. This role will be located in Amsterdam.

This role will partner closely with HR, Recruiting, and Business Leadership to develop and implement compensation strategies, policies, and programs that attract and retain top talent. The successful candidate will provide strategic insights into our compensation design and structure, support global hiring efforts, and ensure our compensation practices remain equitable and competitive for our teams in the EMEA Region.

What you will do:
  • Provide comprehensive compensation support to HR and business leadership teams, including program design, administration, reporting, planning, budgeting, and specific analyses.
  • Co-create the year-end compensation process across multiple business areas from start to finish with peers on the Rewards team.
  • Work with key partners to implement strategic decisions, facilitate compensation design and inform key pay decisions for technology teams.
  • Support market compensation survey and benchmarking processes, analyse results, and use findings to drive innovation in compensation plans.
  • Partner with the Recruiting team and Hiring Leaders to develop competitive new hire offer packages and manage related data.
  • Provide analytical assistance to business leaders on compensation-related matters.
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders on project delivery, managing multiple work streams and competing priorities.
  • Contribute to the implementation and communication of compensation programs.
  • Develop compensation models and conduct statistical analysis.
  • Work with large amounts of data and build mechanisms to streamline processes and balance risks.
Who you are:
  • 5+ years of experience in compensation and/or people analytics, preferred including within Technology or Financial Technology industry.
  • A builder - you embrace the science and art of compensation and apply both to creating something unique that is truly Adyen.
  • An analytical thinker with high data literacy and ability to transform data into actionable guidance that supports the Adyen business.
  • Someone with knowledge of compensation principles, market trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices - you are comfortable looking around the corner at what is next.
  • An energetic, self-starter with the ability to successfully manage competing priorities in a complex and fast-paced environment.
  • Someone with experience and comfort working with large, complex data sets.
  • A person with high integrity and ethics in handling confidential information.
  • Someone with a highly collaborative style and strong team orientation.
