We are seeking a Sales Manager, Media Series to support commercial growth for The Future of Media and The Future of Brands event brands, plus The Media Leader. This person will drive sponsorship revenue, create integrated client solutions and maintain buying relationships across agencies, media owners, brands and ad-tech vendors.
The role requires a confident, consultative salesperson who can shape compelling commercial propositions, respond to briefs strategically and deliver revenue growth through both new business and long-term account development. Working under the Strategic Partnerships Director, this role is an essential part of Adwanted Events’ commercial sales structure.
This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in event sponsorship sales, media partnerships, and consultative B2B commercial environments.
- Revenue Growth & Pipeline Management
- Work alongside the Strategic Partnerships Director to deliver sales targets for The Future of Media and The Future of Brands, as well as opportunities across The Media Leader from your client base.
- Grow revenue through new business, account management and repeat partnerships.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects across agencies, brands, media owners and technology companies.
- Deliver consistent month-on-month revenue performance in line with the commercial strategy.
- Sell sponsorship packages, thought-leadership opportunities and bespoke activations across both event brands and The Media Leader.
- Develop integrated client solutions combining event presence, content engagement, digital promotion and brand visibility.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial decision-makers — including Heads of Marketing, Managing Directors, Media Directors, agency leadership and commercial teams.
- Conduct high-quality sales meetings, presentations and negotiations with confidence and clarity.
- Work closely with the Strategic Partnerships Director to develop the sales strategy and refine commercial positioning.
- Partner with event producers, editorial leads and marketing to ensure client needs align with agendas, content direction and audience development.
- Stay informed on trends within media, marketing, agencies and advertising technology.
- Identify new commercial opportunities, package ideas and sponsorship formats based on market demand.
- Contribute insights that help shape the ongoing evolution of The Future of Media and The Future of Brands.
- Sales Process Excellence
- Maintain accurate forecasting, CRM updates and reporting.
- Improve efficiency within sales processes, outreach cadence and client management approaches.
- Uphold best-in-class commercial standards across proposal writing, negotiation and campaign delivery.
Strong background in B2B sponsorship, event sales or media partnership sales. Consultative sales approach with the ability to articulate value and build integrated, strategic proposals. Proven success hitting or exceeding revenue targets and managing a robust sales pipeline. Excellent relationship-building skills and strong professional communication (written and verbal). Highly organised, commercially creative and driven by results.
