Accounts Payable Supervisor in Welwyn Garden City

This role is available due to retirement, offering a rare opportunity to step into a well-run function within a business that values continuity, expertise, and progression.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

• Full ownership of the Accounts Payable process
• Day-to-day leadership and development of a small AP team (2 direct reports)
• Managing supplier relationships, invoice queries, and reconciliations
• Ownership of AP month-end close, including overheads and intercompany
• Processing payment runs, expenses, and overseas payments
• Maintaining strong controls, accuracy, and audit-ready processes

Qualifications

About You

• Strong Accounts Payable experience (Supervisor or Senior AP level)
• Confident people leader with a structured, detail-focused approach
• Good working knowledge of SAP and Excel
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, product-led environment
• FMCG, stock-based, or multi-entity experience advantageous
