Monster Energy is one of the biggest names in energy drinks globally, and their Western Europe commercial team is looking for a Group Commercial Development Senior Manager to help drive the next phase of growth.

This is a genuinely exciting one.

You will be at the centre of how Monster builds commercial capability across Western Europe, working cross functionally with Commercial Development, Channel Development, Commercial Insights, Category Development, Capability Development, Sales, Marketing, IT and their bottling partner.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Senior Director, Group Commercial Development, you will identify, develop and deliver strategic commercial projects and capabilities that accelerate growth across the region.

You will act as an internal growth catalyst, spotting opportunities to improve commercial effectiveness, field execution, shopper engagement and planning capability, then leading those initiatives from concept through to implementation.

You will also build a strong working relationship with Monster's bottling partner, educating and exciting them about the energy category opportunity across every channel.

  • WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
  • Leading strategic commercial development projects across Western Europe, from roadmap and governance through to delivery and ROI measurement.
  • Driving commercial innovation including field sales engagement platforms, digital sales tools, shopper marketing innovation, customer engagement tools and e-commerce development.
  • Scanning internal and external best practice, evaluating new technologies and processes, and building business cases for future investment.
  • Partnering closely with Channel Development, Commercial Insights and Category Development to bring shopper and category thinking into every project.
  • Building the frameworks, tools and training that raise commercial capability across markets.
  • Leading change and communication plans that get stakeholders bought in and remove barriers to implementation.
  • WHAT YOU WILL BRING
  • Strong project management expertise, ideally gained in commercial, business development or shopper marketing environments.
  • A track record of cross functional leadership and excellent stakeholder management.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, and the ability to manage ambiguity and complexity.
  • Experience leading change programmes.
  • A commercial, analytical mindset with the ability to translate business challenges into practical solutions.
