Want your back-end work to power one of the most recognisable brands on the planet?
The Advocate Group is partnering exclusively with Monster Energy to find a Full Stack Engineer with a strong back-end focus to join their in-house technology team. Monster is investing seriously in its digital platforms, and this role sits at the heart of that. You’ll build across the stack, but your real strength will be in the back end, working in .NET to design the services, APIs and data layers that the business runs on. This is visible, high-impact work for a global brand, not background maintenance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing, building and shipping robust back-end services and APIs in .NET, with front end work where the feature needs it
- Owning the logic, integrations and data that sit behind Monster’s internal platforms and tools
- Working directly with Product, Project Management and non-technical stakeholders to turn business needs into technical solutions
- Operating within an Agile framework: sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, retros, the lot
- Writing clean, well-tested, maintainable code and reviewing others’ work to keep standards high
- Helping shape architecture and technical decisions as the platform scales
- Improving performance, reliability and technical debt as you go, rather than leaving it for someone else
What we’re looking for:
- Proven full stack development experience, with your strongest skills in the back end
- Strong commercial experience with .NET (C#), building APIs and working with relational databases
- Comfortable picking up front end work when needed to deliver a feature end to end
- A strong communicator who can talk to stakeholders as easily as to other engineers
- Agile in how you work: comfortable with ambiguity, changing requirements and fast iteration
- A collaborative approach, working closely with Product, Project Managers and fellow developers
- Solid grasp of modern engineering practices, including version control, testing and code review
Monster moves fast and wants engineers who do the same. You’ll get real ownership, real influence on the platform and a seat at the table when decisions get made. If that sounds like your kind of challenge, we’d like to hear from you.
