The Advocate Group are looking for a commercially minded, data-driven Category & Trade Marketing Executive to join a leading FMCG business. This is a hands‑on role at the intersection of category insights, shopper engagement, and trade marketing execution, giving you the opportunity to influence retailer strategy and deliver impactful campaigns. This is an entry level opportunity so you could be a recent graduate or at the beginning of your career and looking to secure a role with a leading FMCG business that can truly support your development providing extra levels of responsibility as you progress.

What you’ll do:

  • Analyse data to uncover category trends, shopper insights, and growth opportunities
  • Support the development and execution of trade marketing and shopper campaigns
  • Own account‑level activity including planning, budgeting, and post‑campaign evaluation
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external retailers to deliver innovative, insight‑led solutions
  • Contribute to NPD projects, from data analysis to campaign delivery

About you:

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and ideally (but not essential) market data tools (Nielsen, Circana, Kantar)
  • Confident presenter and communicator
  • Curious, commercially aware, and passionate about food and shopper behaviour
  • Outgoing, collaborative, and eager to learn
