Are you ready to take control of cash flow and make a real impact in a fast-paced finance team? Advocate Group is proud to represent a leading FMCG business in their search for a Credit Controller to join their Finance Team. This is a well-established and growing organisation within the FMCG sector, known for its strong customer relationships and operational excellence. With a focus on efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement, the business offers a structured yet dynamic environment where finance professionals can develop and thrive. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that plays a crucial role in maintaining financial health and supporting business growth.

  • Manage daily cash allocation, invoicing, credit notes, and EDI processing
  • Proactively chase outstanding payments via phone and email to meet collection targets
  • Monitor and report non-payments to the Credit Manager
  • Release held orders based on risk assessment
  • Handle POD despatches and support key retail accounts
  • Process pro-forma payments and manual invoices

Previous experience within Credit Control is required, along with a strong understanding of credit control processes and dispute management. Good numeracy and analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data are essential. Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and finance systems, are also necessary. Working towards or holding a Credit Control qualification is desirable.
