I'm supporting a global consumer products organisation in the search for an experienced Project Manager to lead strategic innovation programmes across multiple international markets. This is a highly visible role sitting within a Portfolio & PMO function, responsible for driving cross-functional alignment from concept through to launch. The successful candidate will act as the central orchestrator across Innovation, R&D, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Marketing and Commercial teams.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Lead complex Stage Gate projects from concept through commercial launch
- Drive portfolio priorities, business case development and strategic decision-making
- Facilitate executive-level governance and portfolio reviews
- Identify risks, resource constraints and critical path dependencies early
- Influence senior stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and aligned to strategic objectives
- Support category and portfolio leadership with data-driven recommendations and scenario analysis
We're particularly interested in individuals who bring:
- Strong experience within blue-chip FMCG, Consumer Health, Personal Care, Nutrition or related sectors
- Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end innovation and new product development programmes
- Exposure to European and/or global markets
- Advanced project and programme management expertise (PMI, Prince2 or equivalent)
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
- Experience operating within complex matrix organisations
