The Advocate Group are recruiting on behalf of an incredible, globally recognised consumer product brand, for an experienced

HR Advisor to join their HR team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing organisation where you'll play a key role in delivering expert Employee Relations support across a diverse and fast-paced business.

Working closely with managers and HR colleagues, you'll provide commercially focused advice, manage complex ER casework and support organisational change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of complex Employee Relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, conduct, harassment and discrimination matters.
  • Provide expert advice to managers on Employee Relations issues, UK employment law and company policies.
  • Lead and support investigations, hearings and formal consultation processes.
  • Assess risk and recommend pragmatic, commercially balanced solutions.
  • Support organisational change activity, including restructures, redundancies and organisational design initiatives.
  • Coach and support managers to build confidence and capability in handling Employee Relations matters.
  • Identify trends through case analysis and contribute to continuous improvement of ER policies and processes.
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal governance.
  • Provide support across wider HR activities as required, working collaboratively with the HR team.

About You

We're looking for an experienced

HR Advisor with a strong background in Employee Relations who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex people challenges.

You'll ideally have

  • Proven experience managing high-volume, complex Employee Relations casework.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and Employee Relations best practice.
  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor or Employee Relations-focused HR role.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • The ability to balance commercial priorities with fair and consistent decision-making.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confidence handling sensitive conversations and navigating ambiguity.
  • Experience supporting organisational change and restructuring activity.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
