The Advocate Group is proud to be partnering with an iconic global FMCG brand to recruit a Shopper Insights Manager - a newly created role that will play a pivotal part in shaping commercial strategy across the EMEA region.
This is an exciting opportunity to build and lead a best-in-class shopper insights capability, giving the business a deeper understanding of shopper behaviour and transforming data into compelling commercial stories that drive growth.

- What you'll be doing
- Lead the development of the EMEA shopper insights agenda, identifying opportunities that drive commercial growth.
- Translate shopper and category data into compelling, actionable recommendations for Sales, Trade Marketing and commercial leadership teams.
- Build engaging presentations and insight-led narratives that influence decision-making across markets, customers and senior stakeholders.
- Design and manage shopper research projects from concept through to delivery, working with both syndicated data and bespoke research.
- Own relationships with external insight partners, including Nielsen IQ and other research agencies, ensuring maximum value from existing partnerships.
- Partner closely with regional markets to understand shopper behaviour, identify opportunities and embed shopper-first thinking across the business.
- Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Trade Marketing, Consumer Insights, Category Development and Revenue Growth teams to deliver commercially impactful insights.
About you
We're looking for someone who combines analytical excellence with outstanding commercial storytelling skills.
You'll likely bring
- Strong experience within Shopper Insights, Category Insights or Customer Insights in an FMCG environment.
- Expert knowledge of Nielsen IQ and confidence interpreting syndicated retail and shopper data.
- Experience designing and leading shopper research projects from inception through to delivery.
- A proven ability to turn complex data into clear, commercially relevant recommendations.
- Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leaders.
- Experience managing external research agencies and delivering insight programmes across multiple markets.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills.
Experience with platforms such as Kantar, Circana/IRI or dunnhumby would be highly advantageous.
