Senior National Account Manager – Aldi & Lidl

Remote – 1 day per month in London HQ

Up to £85,000 + car allowance + benefits

We're working with a leading branded food manufacturer to recruit a Senior Business Account Manager to take on a newly created role managing the Aldi and Lidl accounts. This is a strategic and high-profile opportunity to join a fast-paced, ambitious commercial team at an exciting time of growth.

This is a major account across both branded and Own Label product, you will manage a team of National Account Managers and National Account Executives, to deliver on customers that have huge opportunities for growth.

You'll take full ownership of both customers, managing the combined P&L, leading all commercial planning, and playing a key role in shaping the discount channel strategy. The role offers remote working with just one day a month in the London office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full P&L ownership of Aldi and Lidl accounts
  • Lead JBP development, promotional strategy, forecasting, and commercial planning
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and key stakeholders across both retailers
  • Work cross-functionally with supply chain, category, marketing, and commercial finance
  • Develop insight-led proposals and identify growth opportunities across the discount channel
  • Lead internal alignment across teams to ensure delivery of strategic plans
  • Play a senior role in the wider channel team – contributing to best practice and capability building

What we're looking for:

  • Senior NAM or existing SNAM with experience managing Aldi, Lidl or similar retail accounts
  • Strong track record of delivering commercial results and owning the P&L
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills
  • Strategic mindset with strong attention to detail and data-driven decision making
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with high levels of autonomy
  • Confident working cross-functionally and aligning stakeholders across the business
