Production Supervisor

Are you a passionate, driven Team Leader ready to make a step up? Do you want to work for a household name in the FMCG world? As Production Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for leading and supporting your team to ensure the efficient production of high-quality, ‘Right First-Time’ products. You’ll play a key role in short- to medium-term planning (week 1 to week 4), ensuring resources and equipment are optimally utilised to meet production targets. You’ll also deputise for the Shift Operations Manager when required. This role is pivotal in supporting the site’s growth strategy, embedding a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement, while maintaining operational flexibility across engineering, logistics, and technical support functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations to meet production plans and KPIs
• Champion health, safety, and environmental standards
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the team
• Build strong relationships across departments and functions
• Role model company values and behaviours
• Manage budgets and support capital expenditure projects
• Ensure compliance with site processes and procedures
• Recruit, train, and develop team members
• Conduct appraisals, return-to-work interviews, and manage attendance
• Use SAP to manage labour planning and working time

About You

We’re looking for someone with proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally within FMCG. You’ll be confident managing teams, driving performance, and fostering a culture of accountability and improvement. Experience working within a unionised setting is advantageous. You’ll need:

• Strong people management and coaching skills
• A proactive approach to safety and compliance
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Experience with SAP or similar systems
