The Advocate Group is proud to be partnering with a market-leading, fast-growing food business in the search for an NPD Technologist.
As NPD Technologist, you’ll play a vital hands-on role in turning product concepts into reality. Working closely with NPD Managers, technical teams, and production, you’ll help deliver exciting, high-quality food products for some of the UK’s best-known retailers — from premium brands to major discounters.
- Supporting NPD projects across a wide product range
- Coordinating and reporting on factory trials
- Contributing to product improvements and solving development issues
- Assisting with technical readiness and production handover
- Managing documentation and quality checks during development
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including production, technical, food safety, and commercial
Experience in food product development — ideally 12–18 months, including placements or internships
A relevant degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
Basic knowledge of HACCP or food safety standards is a plus
