Contract: 6 months
Location: Remote with travel across Yorkshire
Rate: Negotiable
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Process Development Manager to join a technical team within a leading food manufacturing business. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the successful transfer of products from concept to launch, driving process innovation, and supporting continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion process control, innovation, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Oversee factory trials and ensure robust trial processes, recipe implementation, and accurate technical documentation.
- Drive improvements in process capability and efficiency through structured problem-solving.
- Act as the key point of contact for customer pre-production and launch activities.
- Build strong internal and external relationships, enhancing confidence and collaboration across teams.
Key Requirements:
- Experienced in Product Transfer projects is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working with UK grocery retailers.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in FMCG or similar manufacturing environments.
- Proven track record in project management and technical leadership.
- Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
