The Opportunity
As Engineering Manager for Western Europe, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that Monster’s products and packaging meet the highest quality and performance standards across the EMEA region. Working closely with internal teams, OEMs, and co-packing partners, you’ll lead engineering and packaging initiatives across multiple sites - supporting start-ups, line trials, and ongoing quality assurance. This is a high-impact role within a global operations network, offering the opportunity to influence standards, drive innovation, and contribute to Monster’s continued international growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend plant start-ups across EMEA to qualify suppliers and ensure all packaging materials – cans, bottles, trays, caps, shrink, and others – meet Monster specifications.
- Oversee line trials and monitor filling line performance to maintain consistent product and packaging quality.
- Support OEMs and site teams on new plant builds, machinery installations, and equipment specifications.
- Develop and maintain regional packaging and equipment standards, SOPs, and safety procedures.
- Lead engineering projects, providing guidance and coordination across the regional team.
- Travel regularly to suppliers, warehouses, and co-packers to assess processes and maintain product integrity.
- Manage data input for BOMs on Winshuttle/Evolve and support system updates when required.
- Assist in responding to product or packaging issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
About You
- Proven engineering management experience within FMCG, beverages, or a closely related sector.
- Strong understanding of production processes, packaging standards, and quality systems.
- Confident leading technical projects across multiple international locations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across levels.
- Flexible and proactive approach to travel (up to 70%), with an organised and solutions-driven mindset.
