Our client is a global FMCG business and a recognised leader within its category, with an ambitious growth agenda across the EMEA region. We are supporting the search for a senior commercial professional to join the Commercial Strategy & Insights function, playing a key role in driving category-led growth and shopper excellence across a diverse and fast-moving region.

This role sits at the centre of regional commercial decision-making. You will shape category strategy, embed shopper-led thinking, and influence markets to deliver sustainable revenue and value growth. Working cross-functionally with Finance, Commercial, and Innovation teams, you will translate insight into clear, actionable plans that drive performance across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the development of EMEA category strategy across channels and market types
  • Use shopper and consumer insights to inform assortment, visibility, pricing and promotional strategy
  • Drive best practice in category planning, price pack architecture and promotional effectiveness
  • Support revenue growth initiatives and portfolio profitability in partnership with Finance
  • Partner with regional teams to strengthen category storytelling and customer engagement
  • Lead and develop a small category and shopper insights team

What we’re looking for

  • Strong FMCG experience within Category Management, Shopper Insights or Revenue Growth
  • Ability to turn data and insight into clear commercial action
  • Solid understanding of pricing, promotions and portfolio profitability
  • Experience working across multiple markets or within matrix environments
  • Confident stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Proven people leadership capability
