We’re partnering with a globally recognised, high-growth consumer brand to appoint a Category Insights Executive into their EMEA team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where insight plays a central role in shaping commercial performance and driving strategic decisions. This role sits at the heart of the commercial function, focused on turning data into clear, actionable insight that supports both internal teams and external partners. You’ll work across multiple markets, helping to bring together a holistic view of category performance and identifying opportunities for growth.
As Category Insights Executive, you’ll be responsible for analysing a range of data sources to deliver meaningful insight and support business decision-making. You’ll contribute to regular reporting cycles, build compelling presentations, and support senior stakeholders with ad-hoc analysis and recommendations. You’ll also play a key role in improving how insight is delivered across the business — helping to streamline reporting, enhance tools and ensure outputs are both impactful and easy to digest.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse and interpret multiple data sources (e.g. EPOS, panel, market data) to generate actionable insights
- Support the delivery of regular commercial and category reporting packs
- Translate complex data into clear, engaging presentations and insight-led narratives
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and provide relevant analysis
- Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes, tools and outputs
- Support ad-hoc deep dives into category, customer and performance trends
- Experience in a data, insights or category-focused role, ideally within FMCG or retail
- Strong analytical capability, with advanced Excel skills and exposure to tools such as Power BI
- Familiarity with data sources such as Nielsen, Kantar or similar
- Confident communicator, able to present data in a clear and compelling way
- Proactive, curious and commercially minded, with a desire to drive impact through insight
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
