The Advocate Group are exclusively supporting a heritage food brand on this exciting new opportunity. The Category and Customer Marketing Manager will sit within the commercial function utilising category data to create compelling category stories and generate actionable instore and online shopper plans, to help accelerate growth across major UK grocery customers. This is a broad, high-visibility role working alongside both Sales and Marketing - combining customer marketing, category insight, retail execution, and cross-functional project leadership.
The role:
- Use Category and shopper data to identify growth opportunities and create compelling category stories to drive category growth
- Partner with commercial teams to improve visibility, distribution, and promotional execution
- Monitor campaign and category performance, providing actionable recommendations to optimise results
- Lead the delivery of retail activation campaigns across key grocery customers
- Manage customer marketing projects including POS, displays, and customer-facing materials
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver activity on time and within budget
About you:
- Experience within FMCG category, shopper, trade, or customer marketing
- Strong understanding of UK grocery retail
- Commercially minded with strong analytical capability
- Confident managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, collaborative environment
