The Advocate Group has partnered with a fast-growing beauty and retail business to recruit a Buying Manager for their London team. Are you obsessed with K Beauty and Korean culture? Yes? This role could be perfect for you! I'm looking for a highly commercial individual with buying or brand-side account management experience to join one of the most exciting, high-growth businesses in beauty.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, trend-led consumer brand that has quickly established itself as a market leader in beauty, with a strong retail and ecommerce presence across the UK.
Working Pattern: Full-time, office-based (Monday–Friday)
Key responsibilities:
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team of Buyers
- Managing supplier relationships and leading commercial negotiations
- Driving category performance across sales, margin, and stock availability
- Working cross-functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain & Retail teams
- Managing product launches and critical paths across multiple categories
- Building strong relationships with international brand partners
- Producing trading analysis and strategic recommendations for leadership teams
What we’re looking for:
- Experience within Buying or Category Management in Beauty, Skincare, Wellness or fast-paced retail
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation capability
- Proven experience managing and developing teams
- Highly analytical with strong Excel skills
- Organised and confident managing multiple priorities
- Passion for beauty and consumer trends
- Experience working with international suppliers is highly desirable
