We're proud to be partnering with Monster Energy to recruit an Assistant Accountant into their EMEA Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an iconic global business where development is genuinely encouraged, giving you the chance to build your technical accounting expertise whilst gaining exposure to multiple international entities across EMEA.

If you're actively studying ACCA or ACA and looking for a role that will accelerate your progression towards Financial Accountant level, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for. Reporting into a Senior Financial Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting the accounting, reporting and compliance activities for several EMEA entities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes
  • Assisting with annual statutory accounts and corporation tax requirements
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting analysis
  • Supporting VAT, payroll and audit activities
  • Working closely with external advisors and stakeholders across EMEA
  • Contributing to finance projects and continuous process improvements

What We're Looking For

  • Part Qualified and actively studying towards ACCA or ACA qualification
  • Previous experience within a finance or accounting role
  • Exposure to month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and develop
