The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Artwork Project Manager to join a fast-paced packaging and artwork team, managing the end-to-end delivery of artwork projects across a range of products and packaging formats. This is a hands-on project management role, working closely with creative, design, technical, regulatory, production and external agency teams to ensure artwork is delivered accurately, on time and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end artwork process, from initial brief through to final approval and print-ready files.
  • Coordinate multiple artwork projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, priorities and deliverables are clearly managed.
  • Manage the creation, review and approval of die lines, cutter guides, artwork templates and packaging specifications.
  • Work closely with designers, artworkers, suppliers and production teams to ensure artwork meets technical and print requirements.
  • Coordinate artwork amends, approvals and sign-offs across internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Maintain accurate project trackers, timelines and artwork status reports, escalating risks or delays where necessary.
  • Ensure all artwork is delivered accurately, with the correct specifications, colours, copy, legal requirements and technical details.
  • Manage artwork version control and ensure final files are correctly approved and archived.
  • Support the resolution of artwork, packaging and print-related issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities to improve artwork processes, project tracking and ways of working across the wider team.

About You

  • Previous experience in artwork project management, packaging project management or a similar role within a fast-paced FMCG, beauty, personal care, food, drinks or consumer goods environment.
  • Strong understanding of packaging artwork processes, including die lines, cutter guides, print specifications and final artwork approval.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Confident working with creative, technical, regulatory, production and commercial teams.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to chase approvals and keep projects moving.
  • Experience using artwork management systems, project trackers or similar tools.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with a genuine interest in delivering high-quality packaging artwork.

The Ideal Candidate

You’ll be someone who enjoys bringing structure to creative and technical projects, ensuring everyone knows what needs to happen, when it needs to happen and who is responsible. You don’t need to be the person creating the artwork yourself, but you do need to understand the artwork process, be comfortable discussing technical packaging requirements and have the project management skills to deliver projects from brief to completion.
