We are recruiting on behalf of an incredible, global FMCG brand seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join their supply chain team. This role is ideal for someone with strong SAP TMS experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage supply planning across multiple product lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate deliveries across multiple EMEA locations, ensuring on-time shipments.
- Manage carrier relationships, supporting onboarding and performance tracking within SAP TMS.
- Monitor transport loads in real time, proactively addressing delays and providing updates to customer service teams.
- Optimize transport routes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Prepare and oversee import/export documentation, including packing lists, commercial invoices, and certificates.
- Ensure customs compliance, handling queries related to V&D and commodity codes.
- Support SAP TMS implementation, including pricing updates, new carrier setup, and resolving system exceptions.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, co-packers, and warehouses to improve transport operations.
- Assist in transport tenders and cost-saving initiatives, contributing to continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Proven background in logistics, freight management, or supply chain coordination.
- Systems Knowledge: Hands-on experience with SAP Transportation Management System (TMS) is required.
- Process-Driven: Ability to structure workflows and optimize transport operations.
- Analytical Thinker: Strong problem-solving skills with experience in transport data analysis.
- Carrier & Vendor Management: Experience working with transport providers and third-party logistics (3PL).
- Customs & Compliance: Familiarity with import/export regulations and documentation requirements.
- Communication Skills: Ability to work cross-functionally with customer service, operations, and external partners.
