We're proud to be exclusively partnering with a leading FMCG business on a key hire within its Commercial division.

With a strong portfolio of well-known drinks brands across retail, foodservice, hospitality, and wholesale, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and established business.

This is a highly developmental commercial role, supporting a team of National Account Managers across the wholesale customer portfolio.

You'll also take ownership of a smaller portfolio of regional accounts, giving you genuine exposure to account management and customer development.

The Role

  • Supporting National Account Managers and the Head of the Professional and Foodservice division across the wholesale customer portfolio
  • Managing a smaller portfolio of regional wholesale accounts and developing these commercially
  • Supporting forecasting, spend tracking, promotional administration, new line forms, SKU changes, and reporting
  • Managing customer communications, including regular reports, category updates, and buyer support packs
  • Working closely with Commercial and Supply Chain teams on forecasting and scenario planning
  • Attending trade exhibitions and developing confidence in representing the product portfolio to customers
  • Gradually gaining exposure to customer meetings, store visits, account accompaniments, and product development
  • Providing excellent customer service and building strong customer relationships
  • Supporting the wider team when required and taking ownership of agreed tasks and projects

About You

  • Graduate or early-career candidate with a genuine interest in developing a career in sales or account management
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, commercial support, or a similar role is advantageous but not essential
  • Confident, personable, articulate, and comfortable communicating with customers and internal teams
  • Commercially curious, proactive, and keen to learn
  • Strong Excel, Microsoft Office, numerical, and data skills
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Driven, resilient, positive, and determined
  • Previous FMCG, food, drink, wholesale, or foodservice experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Based in the North West and able to travel to the office and customers as required
  • Hybrid working with 2-3 days per week in the office
