With ambitious growth plans across wholesale, retail, supermarket, and online channels, the business is looking for an experienced and hands-on Supply Chain & Logistics Manager to take ownership of key stock, import, warehousing, transport, and logistics activities.

The Role

  • Coordinate the end-to-end supply chain across inventory, imports, warehousing, transport and outbound logistics.
  • Ensure accurate stock levels across all warehouses, with a strong focus on stock ageing, shelf life and batch control.
  • Manage slow-moving and obsolete inventory and support stock forecasting alongside Sales and Finance.
  • Liaise with suppliers and freight forwarders to coordinate freight bookings and inbound deliveries.
  • Oversee customs clearance and ensure accurate import documentation and compliance with relevant food import regulations.
  • Work with the Operations team to ensure export documentation is accurate for international customers.
  • Drive improvements in transport and logistics, including negotiating and planning to reduce freight costs.
  • Develop and track key supply chain KPIs, including service levels, inventory turnover, pallet volumes, overstocks, missed sales and freight costs.
  • Lead and develop a team of one Stock Controller and one Senior Operations Administrator.

About You

  • 3–5+ years' experience within Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations, ideally within FMCG.
  • Strong experience across stock control and inventory management.
  • Proven experience managing imports, international freight and customs processes.
  • Understanding of food industry compliance and traceability requirements.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, ideally Net Suite or a similar platform.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to solve problems and improve processes.
  • Commercially aware, with a strong focus on cost control and operational efficiency.
  • Confident managing suppliers, freight forwarders and external logistics partners.
  • Experience managing or developing a small team would be beneficial.
  • Comfortable working in a growing, fast-paced business where you can make a tangible impact.
