We are working on behalf of a well-established client within the FMCG sector who is seeking a confident and customer-focused Inside Sales Executive to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual with strong communication skills to take ownership of their own customer portfolio and contribute directly to business growth.
The Role
This role is focused on generating sales and revenue through effective portfolio management, upselling and promoting a wide range of products. The successful candidate will be handling both outbound and inbound customer calls, processing orders accurately, and providing top-tier customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow your own portfolio of customers
- Drive revenue and profit through effective selling, upselling and cross-selling
- Accurately process customer orders and resolve queries efficiently
- Update product listings on the website and ordering app
- Ensure all customer interactions are documented in line with company procedures
- Promote new and existing products to support sales campaigns
- Act as a key liaison between customers, delivery teams and the distribution centre
- Provide administrative and sales support to wider teams

About You:
- Educated to GCSE level with good numeracy and literacy skills
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service environment, ideally involving telephone contact and order processing via an ERP system
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word
- Clear, confident telephone manner with a customer-first approach
- Effective at time management and able to work well under pressure
- A natural relationship builder with strong problem-solving skills
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
