Are you an experienced Employee Relations professional with strong TUPE expertise and multi-site experience? Our client is a forward-thinking organisation that prides itself on making a real difference every day. They're looking for an Employee Relations Specialist to join their team, focusing on managing complex people matters and fostering a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture across multiple locations. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of ER strategy, partner closely with managers, and influence how employee relations is delivered across the business.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers across multiple sites, providing expert guidance on all employee relations matters
- Lead and manage complex ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance issues
- Take ownership of TUPE transfers (in and out), ensuring smooth, compliant, and well-communicated processes
- Coach and support line managers to build confidence and capability in handling ER issues effectively
- Ensure all ER activity is compliant with current employment legislation and internal policies
- Analyse ER trends (e.g., absence, attrition, case volumes) to identify risks and recommend proactive solutions
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of ER policies, procedures, and frameworks
- Promote a positive employee experience and support initiatives that drive engagement and retention
- Travel regularly across multiple sites to provide hands-on, visible support
Person Requirements
- Proven experience in an Employee Relations-focused role within a fast-paced, multi-site environment
- Strong TUPE experience with the ability to manage end-to-end transfer processes
- In-depth knowledge of employment law and ER best practice
- Demonstrated experience handling complex and high-volume ER casework
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders
- Strong coaching skills with a focus on developing line manager capability
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for creating fair and positive workplace outcomes
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
