The Advocate Group are delighted to be supporting a leading international FMCG business in the search for a Global Project Manager. This is a high-impact role sitting at the heart of a newly evolving global project management function, offering the opportunity to lead strategically important initiatives across multiple international markets.

We’re looking for an individual who thrives in complexity, enjoys influencing senior stakeholders and can drive multiple high‑profile projects from concept through to launch.

The Role

Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of innovation, compliance and strategic business projects across international markets. This is far more than a traditional project coordination role. You’ll be expected to lead cross‑functional teams, challenge assumptions, influence decision‑making and ensure projects deliver maximum business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple concurrent projects across international markets from initiation through to execution
  • Drive cross‑functional collaboration across Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Regulatory and Product teams
  • Influence senior stakeholders and provide clear recommendations to support business decisions
  • Manage project scope, timelines, risks and resource requirements
  • Facilitate strategic discussions, helping teams navigate complexity and overcome barriers
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and aligned to business objectives
  • Support portfolio prioritisation and governance processes
  • Drive accountability and maintain momentum across large, diverse stakeholder groups

The Person

We’re keen to speak with experienced Project Managers who have operated within complex FMCG environments and are comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously. You will demonstrate:

  • Experience leading large‑scale, multi‑market or global projects
  • Exposure to innovation, product development, compliance or transformation programmes
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience influencing senior leadership teams
  • The ability to challenge constructively and drive decisions in ambiguous environments
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to balance strategic objectives with operational delivery
  • Experience working across multiple functions within a matrix organisation

This role would suit an individual who combines excellent project management discipline with the confidence, resilience and commercial awareness to operate as a true business partner.
