Currently working in field sales but want to represent a brand people genuinely get excited about?
Working in retail and ready to take your commercial career beyond the shop floor?
Or perhaps you're an Account Manager looking to swap the desk for a customer-facing role with real autonomy?
We're looking for a Field Sales Executive to join a market-leading FMCG business, taking ownership of an established territory across East Lancashire.
This is a fast paced, customer facing role where your ability to build relationships, spot opportunities, and execute brilliantly in-store will directly influence sales growth and brand success.
The Company
Our client is one of the fastest-growing and most recognisable brands within the FMCG sector, operating across multiple markets with an ambitious growth strategy and an entrepreneurial culture.
This isn't a corporate environment where you'll be micromanaged.
It's a business built on energy, pace and accountability, where people are trusted to own their territory, make decisions, and develop their careers.
If you're looking for a company that rewards ambition and offers genuine progression, this is an excellent place to start.
The Role
Reporting into the Regional Field Manager, you'll be responsible for growing brand presence across an established convenience retail territory.
You'll spend your time visiting independent retailers and convenience stores, building strong customer relationships, increasing distribution, securing new listings, improving product visibility, and ensuring promotional activity is executed to the highest standard.
No two days are the same.
One day you could be opening new accounts, the next developing existing relationships, implementing point-of-sale materials, or identifying new commercial opportunities within your territory.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being out in the field, thrives on autonomy, and gets genuine satisfaction from seeing the results of their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Build long-term relationships with convenience retailers across your territory.
- Identify and win new retail customers to expand distribution.
- Maximise product availability, visibility and promotional execution in-store.
- Install and maintain POS materials and merchandising displays.
- Support and coach distribution partner sales teams to drive execution.
- Ensure the correct product range is stocked within every outlet.
- Deliver market activation campaigns across your territory.
- Gather and communicate valuable market and competitor insights.
- Accurately record customer visits, activity and sales information.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and distribution partners to deliver business objectives.
What We're Looking For
- Passion for sales and a genuine desire to build a long-term career in FMCG.
- Confident communicator who enjoys meeting new people and building relationships.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own territory and priorities.
- Commercial mindset with the confidence to identify and convert opportunities.
- Resilient, energetic and driven by achieving results.
- Adaptable, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Full
- UK manual driving licence - ESSENTIAL
