We are working with a leading UK-based company offering a diverse range of authentic World Food and Drink products, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction. We are supporting them to find a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operations of their site. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation, efficiency, and safety of our facilities while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, and security of the distribution centre and office, ensuring all systems function efficiently.
- Manage vendor contracts and relationships, ensuring compliance with service agreements and company standards.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular risk assessments and safety drills.
- Optimise space management for both warehouse and office areas to improve workflow and efficiency.
- Develop and manage the facilities budget, controlling costs and implementing energy-efficient solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in facilities management, preferably within a FMCG distribution or warehouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance, health & safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing vendor contracts and service agreements.
- Ability to lead a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Budgeting and cost control experience is a plus.
- Ideally one or more of the following qualifications – NEBOSH, IOSH, BIFM Level 4+
