They’re looking for an Employee Relations Specialist to join their team, focusing on managing complex people matters and fostering a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture across multiple locations.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of ER strategy, partner closely with managers, and influence how employee relations is delivered across the business.
Responsibilities- Act as a trusted advisor to managers across multiple sites, providing expert guidance on all employee relations matters.
- Lead and manage complex ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance issues.
- Take ownership of TUPE transfers (in and out), ensuring smooth, compliant, and well-communicated processes.
- Coach and support line managers to build confidence and capability in handling ER issues effectively.
- Ensure all ER activity is compliant with current employment legislation and internal policies.
- Analyse ER trends (e.g., absence, attrition, case volumes) to identify risks and recommend proactive solutions.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of ER policies, procedures, and frameworks.
- Promote a positive employee experience and support initiatives that drive engagement and retention.
- Travel regularly across multiple sites to provide hands-on, visible support.
- Proven experience in an Employee Relations-focused role within a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
- Strong TUPE experience with the ability to manage end-to-end transfer processes.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law and ER best practice.
- Demonstrated experience handling complex and high-volume ER casework.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders.
- Strong coaching skills with a focus on developing line manager capability.
