We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Consolidation Analyst to join a global confectionery business, to play a key role in delivering high-quality financial information to senior stakeholders and external auditors. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of the group's consolidated financial reporting. Success in this role will require excellent communication and reporting skills as you will have the opportunity to work with senior stakeholders across the business. The ideal person will have advanced analytical skills and ability to utilise tools such as Advanced Excel, Power BI or Power Query.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
- Collaborate with finance teams across business units to ensure timely and accurate submission of financial data.
- Analyse consolidated results, highlighting key drivers and variances.
- Identify and resolve intercompany mismatches and elimination issues.
Ideal Requirements:
- Proven experience in a group consolidation role - preferably within consultancy/practice.
- Experience in FMCG, Retail or Financial Services.
- Part-qualified accountant.
- Advanced user of Excel and Power BI or Power Query.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on data integrity.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
