Would you like to join a high-growth FMCG business as a Commercial Finance Analyst? In this role, you will partner closely with the commercial, marketing, and supply chain teams to deliver financial insight, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and provide reporting and analysis that drives business performance and future growth opportunities.
The Role
- Partner closely with commercial teams to provide financial insight across commercial spend, category performance, brand profitability, and customer P&Ls
- Support the marketing team with value chain analysis, pricing strategies, and brand plans
- Manage month-end processes, including journal postings, reporting, variance analysis, and commentary for key stakeholders
- Maintain and manage commercial spend evaluation trackers to assess effectiveness and ROI
- Support forecasting and budgeting processes through financial modelling and analysis
- Produce accurate monthly P&Ls and financial performance reporting
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant
- 3–4 years’ experience in a finance or commercial finance role
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Advanced Excel capability and experience using SAP
- Comfortable analysing large data sets, managing accruals, and tracking financial variances
- Strong communicator with the ability to translate financial data into clear commercial insights
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage shifting priorities effectively
- Driven by continuous improvement and delivering excellence in their work
