We're working confidentially with a globally recognised consumer health and self-care business, household-name brands, genuine scale, and a portfolio of innovation projects that actually ship. They're after a Global Project Manager to bring order, pace and strategic clarity to their Stage Gate pipeline. This isn't admin-heavy project coordination. You'll sit close to the Portfolio & PMO Director, act as a trusted advisor to leadership, and have real authority to shape which projects get backed, how they're resourced, and how fast they move from concept to launch.
What you'll be doing:
- Plan and drive Stage Gate projects end to end: scope, resourcing, on-time/on-budget delivery
- Shape priorities with evidence-based recommendations and scenario analysis, not just status updates
- Lead cross-functional teams with real authority: R&D, Marketing, Supply, Finance, Category
- Spot risk and opportunity early, and bring leadership concise, decision-ready insight
- Own portfolio visibility and governance reporting that's trusted, not just timely
- Challenge business cases where the commercial or financial logic doesn't stack up
What you'll bring:
- Strong PM credentials (PMP/Prince2 or equivalent) backed by real Stage Gate / NPD experience
- Commercial and financial fluency, comfortable interpreting numbers, not just timelines
- The confidence to influence senior stakeholders and hold the line on rigour
- A track record of cutting concept-to-launch time without cutting corners
- Genuine comfort operating cross-functionally at a global level
Why this one's worth a conversation:
A seat at the table on a high-profile innovation portfolio, direct visibility with senior leadership, and a remit that's been deliberately built with influence in mind, not just delivery. If you thrive in environments where pace is fast, expectations are high, and impact is real, this is one to explore.
