Are you ready to champion category growth in the Convenience, Wholesale, and On-Trade channels?

Do you excel in providing actionable insights that drive mutual growth for customers and businesses alike?

The Advocate Group are working with a B Corp Drinks business that has a range category leading products. They pride themselves on having a people first approach and are making huge moves in the UK and Globally!

With a focus on the Convenience, Wholesale, and On-Trade channels, this business is seeking a Category Manager to lead the way in driving incremental category growth.

The Role :

Develop and cultivate category relationships with key Convenience, Wholesale, and On-Trade customers, serving as their go-to contact!

Utilise data and insights to influence retailers\’ strategies, including range, merchandising, and promotions, ensuring a triple win for the retailer, shopper, and the business.

Support the development of the annual Category Vision, tailoring it to the needs of Convenience, Wholesale, and On-Trade customers, and identifying opportunities for mutual growth.

Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to build compelling trade sell-ins and stories aligned with our business, channel, and customer objectives.

Be the internal champion for the Convenience, Wholesale, and On-Trade channel and shopper, ensuring their unique needs are considered in strategies and sharing relevant news, information, and performance internally.

The Person :

3+ years\’ experience within the FMCG industry (manufacturer, agency, or retailer).

Proven Category Management experience.

Experience using multiple data sources including IRI / Nielsen and Kantar and their platforms.

Strong communicator with experience presenting internally and externally at all levels.
