Global Category Development Manager

London – Hybrid

This is your opportunity to join a thriving, independent Drinks business that sells its iconic products in 200 markets across the world.

As Category Development Manager, you will be responsible for the Category strategy at a Global level ensuring owned and 3rd party distribution markets are equipped with the toolkits to deliver the overarching strategy!

The Role:

  • Analyse data to develop and execute global category and portfolio opportunities in alignment with the Category Growth Vision.
  • Provide recommendations for portfolio activities, activation materials, and toolkits to enhance the brand’s role in the category.
  • Lead the development and execution of category-led activations and customer propositions to drive business growth and increase market share.
  • Collaborate with Global Brand teams and key markets/regions to establish clear range and merchandising principles.
  • Develop category principles for channel segmentation to maximize ROI efficiency and savings.
  • Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leaders, analysing campaign effectiveness, efficiency, and ROI.
  • Build and manage strong internal relationships with different functions
  • Partner with markets to cultivate strong customer relationships with priority customers and drive growth.
  • The Person:

  • Experience working in a multi-market category or customer marketing role for an FMCG business.
  • Comfortable analysing and interpreting data from multiple sources, ensuring this can be translated easily to internal stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross functionally
