A leading FMCG brand is on the lookout for a commercial individual to be part of their rapid growth across the Essex region. This is a field-based role involving regular, daily travel to customers within the Convenience Channel. This is your chance to really kickstart your sales career with a forward-thinking, progressive business that prioritises its people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with customers within the convenience channel across your patch
- Execute direct market activation in the field
- Deliver promotional execution in market
- Train and coach distribution partner staff
- Distribute and manage POS materials
- Acquire new independent retailers aligned to the defined profile
- Ensure correct stock line distribution per outlet in line with required mix
- Distribute POS material and merchandise to existing stockists and new outlets as directed
- Support the appointed distributor with agreed promotional activity
- Communicate high-quality market insights to distributors
- Complete activity reporting on time and submit as directed
- Record and report all activities in line with company policy
About You:
- Flexible, enthusiastic, hardworking, and committed to a career in sales
- Self-starting, entrepreneurial, and highly adaptable in a rapidly changing marketplace
- A strong communicator who can influence and build credibility with distributor partners, internal and external customers, and industry contacts
- Comfortable working within a team, with the drive to set your own objectives and maintain consistent business development
- A quick learner and creative problem solver
- Full (manual) UK driver’s licence - ESSENTIAL
